LINE OF STRONG TO AT TIMES SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES TO MOVE
SLOWLY SOUTHEAST ALONG A LISBON TO ADA TO WARROAD LINE. THE STORMS
ARE ALONG A COLD FRONT. BEHIND THE FRONT...A SECONDARY SHORTWAVE AND
ASSOCIATED LIFT WILL AFFECT REGIONS BEHIND THE FRONT OVERNIGHT.
ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE FRONT...CONVECTION WILL LINGER UNTIL MORNING
WITH ANOTHER WARNING OR TWO POSSIBLE UNTIL AROUND 9 PM.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR SOUTHERN NORTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHWEST MINNESOTA WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 800 PM CDT.

DISCUSSION...A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES TO MOVE SLOWLY TO THE
SOUTHEAST FROM EXTREME SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA INTO NORTHWEST
MINNESOTA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALONG AND AHEAD OF A SLOW MOVING
COLD FRONT THAT WILL BRING IN COOLER TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION.
DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THE FRONT...THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
TO MOVE OVER THE SAME GENERAL AREA FOR A PERIOD OF TIME PRODUCING
HEAVY RAINS IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THERE STILL MAY BE AN
ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OR TWO ACROSS SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA
THROUGH 9 PM...HOWEVER WITH THE LOSS OF DAYTIME HEATING THE SEVERE
THREAT IS RAPIDLY DIMINISHING.
