THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CASS COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA
  
* UNTIL 115 AM CDT

* AT 702 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THE LEADING EDGE OF A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
  RAIN FROM LEONARD TO CASSELTON TO HUNTER. A HAM RADIO OPERATOR
  REPORTED WATER ACROSS A ROAD 1 MILE WEST OF CASSELTON AT 658 PM
  CDT.

* STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE RAINFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO     
  INCHES PER HOUR ACROSS PORTIONS OF CASS COUNTY THIS EVENING.       
  AS A RESULT...THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR                             
  STREET...BASEMENT...AND OVERLAND FLOODING THROUGH THE EVENING      
  HOURS. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REACH THE FARGO METRO AREA BY 800    
  PM. SOME ADDITIONAL CITIES INCLUDED IN THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING ARE 
  CHAFFEE...CASSELTON...AMENIA...AND ARGUSVILLE.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...MOVE QUICKLY TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. 
DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. 
PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR 
TWO FEET OF WATER WILL FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
