  EASTERN WALSH COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.
  INCLUDING THE CITY OF GRAFTON...

* UNTIL 1230 PM CDT.

* AT 1141 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 2 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NASH...OR ABOUT 7 MILES
  WEST OF GRAFTON...MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 55 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...

ACTIVITY TO GRADUALLY DIMINISH LATER THIS MORNING AS INSTABILITY
DECREASES WHILE CONVECTIVE INHIBITION ON THE INCREASE. THIS
REASONABLE AS UPPER AIR ANALYSIS SHOWS WEAK 7H WAVE MOVING THRU IN
SW FLOW WHILE WARMER AIR PUSHES IN AT THIS HEIGHT TO HELP CAP OFF
CONVECTION OVER THE SRN ZONES. HOWEVER...NRN VALLEY AND POINTS E TO
STAY ACTIVE THRU MUCH OF THE AFTN AS THIS AREA TO STAY
UNSTABLE...ESPECIALLY ALONG STALLED BOUNDARY EXTENDING ALONG THE
RED RIVER VALLEY.

WL UP PCPN POTENTIAL OVER MUCH OF THE REGION WITH UPDATE. WL NOT

SYNOPSIS...MOIST UNSTABLE AIR REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS THE RED RIVER
VALLEY INTO NORTHWEST MINNESOTA. AS THE DAY PROGRESSES...THIS MOIST
UNSTABLE AIR WILL BEGIN TO WORK ITS WAY BACK TO THE WEST. A FRONTAL
BOUNDARY WILL ALSO REFORM ACROSS CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA DURING THE
DAY TODAY. TEMPERATURES WILL ONCE AGAIN WARM NICELY BY AFTERNOON...
HELPING TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUEL FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT.

AREA OF CONCERN...A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED
ACROSS ALL OF EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.
