* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BARNES COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA
  CASS COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA
  RANSOM COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA
  SARGENT COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA

*FLASH FLOOD WARNING EXTENDED FOR...
 RICHLAND COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA
 WILKIN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* AT 830 AM CDT...COOPERATIVE OBSERVERS ALONG WITH DOPPLER RADAR
  ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT WIDESPREAD 1 TO 2 INCH RAINS OCCURRED
  OVERNIGHT. RADAR ALSO INDICATES THAT A BAND OF MODERATE RAINFALL
  CONTINUES  ACROSS NORTHWESTERN CASS COUNTY...ALL OF BARNES COUNTY
  AND INTO RANSOM AND SARGENT COUNTIES. ALTHOUGH A BRIEF BREAK FROM
  THE RAINFALL MAY OCCUR. THIS BAND OF RAIN IS EXPECTED TO ROTATE
  BACK INTO THE AREA THROUGH 230 PM CDT...WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
  AMOUNTS OF UP TO ONE HALF TO ONE INCH EXPECTED. RUNOFF WILL ALSO
  CONTINUE IN RICHLAND AND WILKIN COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM CDT. IN
  ADDITION RAIN BANDS WILL MOVE BACK INTO RICHLAND AND WILKIN
  COUNTIES WITH ADDITIONAL ONE HALF INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS EXPECTED.
  AT 830 AM...THE RICHLAND COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER INDICATED
  THAT SEVERAL ROADS IN THE COUNTY HAD WATER RUNNING OVER THEM AND
  WERE CLOSED OR BEING CLOSED.

*FLOODING OF ROADWAYS...LOW LYING AREAS...RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL
 OCCUR THROUGH 230 PM CDT. ADDITIONAL  BASEMENT FLOODING IS ALSO
 POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED AREAS AS WELL. DO NOT TRY TO GO THROUGH
 BARRICADES THAT MAY BE UP ON AREA ROADS...IF YOU DO YOU ARE PUTTING
 YOUR LIFE AT RISK.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.  ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
