THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  COMAL COUNTY
  BEXAR COUNTY

* UNTIL 1200 PM CDT

* WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAINS 
CONTINUING TO TRAVERSE BEXAR AND COMAL COUNTIES. RAINFALL RATES ARE 
NEAR 2 INCHES AN HOUR.  A RISE IS EXPECTED ON CIBOLO CREEK IN BEXAR 
COUNTY.  THE COMAL RIVER AND DRY COMAL ARE RUNNING WITH OVER 3 
INCHES OF RAINFALL RECEIVED OVER THE DRAINAGE AREA.  

COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS 
AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
