* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GRANT COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
  HETTINGER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA
  WESTERN BURLEIGH COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
  MORTON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BISMARCK AND MANDAN

* UNTIL 615 AM CDT

* AT 1218 AM CDT...THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORRENTIAL RAIN 
  CONTINUED FROM MOTT...THROUGH ELGIN...TO THE BISMARCK MANDAN AREA.
  THE BISMARCK AIRPORT HAS RECEIVED 2.25 INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. 
ADDITIONALLY...COUNTY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS 
AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. 
MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN S
AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
