  SOUTHWESTERN NYE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEVADA

* AT 604 AM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE GRAPEVINE MOUNTAINS ALONG
  THE CALIFORNIA/NEVADA BORDER WITHIN DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK.
  RADAR SHOWS THIS AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS HAS BEEN PERSIST THE PAST
  HOUR OVER THE MOUNTAINS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF
NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND ARROYOS...AS WELL AS ROADS BETWEEN STOVEPIPE
WELL AND SCOTTY'S CASTLE.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF WASHES
AND NARROW CANYONS. THE HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO TRIGGER ROCK AND
MUDSLIDES IN STEEP TERRAIN.

NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO WASH M,OST CARS AWAY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
