THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN LINCOLN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEVADA

* UNTIL 830 PM PDT

* AT 520 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 93 ABOUT
  25 MILES SOUTH OF ALAMO NEAR THE LINCOLN AND CLARK COUNTY LINE.
  OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WERE IN EXTREME SOUTHEAST
  LINCOLN COUNTY NEAR CARP AND THE MORMON MOUNTAINS. THE STORMS WERE
  MOVING SLOWLY NORTH-NORTHWEST AT 5-10 MPH.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF
WASHES AND SMALL STREAMS...ESPECIALLY THE PAHRANAGAT WASH.
ADDITIONALLY...HIGHWAYS...UNDERPASSES AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS WILL
BE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER ATTEMPT
TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATERS
SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
