* AT 450 PM MST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 7 MILES WEST OF GREEN VALLEY...MOVING WEST AT
  10 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...

SYNOPSIS...MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM BERYL HAS
MOVED INTO ARIZONA WHICH WILL INCREASE THE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY
STATEWIDE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. OVER THE WEEKEND...THE STANDARD
MONSOON WEATHER REGIME WILL PRODUCE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
THUNDERSTORMS.

DISCUSSION...TUCSON AND PHOENIX SPECIAL SOUNDING SHOWED THAT WE WILL
NEED A LITTLE HELP OVERCOMING THE INVERSION...SO THUNDERSTORMS NOW
OVER THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS WILL HAVE TO ORGANIZE AND PUSH OUT OVER
THE DESERTS. WITH A LITTLE LIFT THERE IS PLENTY OF CAPE AVAIABLE.
THUNDERSTORMS WERE INITIALLY MOVING ALONG QUICKLY...NEAR 20
MPH...OVER COCHISE COUNTY BUT THAT MOTION HAS SLOWED SOME RAISING
POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING. HAVE ISSUED FLASH FLOOD WATCH GIVEN
POTENTIAL. SPOTTERS AROUND BISBEE REPORTED A HALF INCH OF RAIN IN 15
MINUTES ALONG WITH SMALL HAIL. THIS WAS WITH EARLIER FAST MOVING
STORMS.

GIVEN TROPICAL TYPE AIR MASS HAVE NOT LOWERED POPS ON FRIDAY GIVEN
STORMS MAY REFIRE WITH MINIMAL HEATING. IN EXTENDED...JUST STANDARD
