COLD FRONT MOVING SOUTH ACROSS KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON WILL MOVE ACROSS NEARLY ALL OF AREA TONIGHT...WITH COOLER AND MUCH DRIER AIR IN ITS WAKE. A SCATTERED LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING SOUTH INTO NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AT 745 THIS EVENING. THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN WEAKENING AS THEY MOVE SOUTH AND THIS WEAKENING TREND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE. ALTHOUGH THE STORMS ARE NOT OVERLY STRONG AND ARE NOT SUPERCELLULAR IN NATURE...MODERATE INSTABILITY AND WEAK LOW LEVEL CONVERGENCE IS RESULTING IN FAVORABLE CONDITIONS FOR LANDSPOUT TYPE TORNADOES.
