000 WGUS54 KTSA 210735 FFWTSA OKC001-041-211100- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 235 AM CDT WED JUN 21 2000 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR ADAIR COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA DELAWARE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA * UNTIL 600 AM CDT * AT 232 AM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS MUCH OF DELAWARE AND ADAIR COUNTIES MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER THE WARNING AREA. ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 600 AM CDT. * SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN INCLUDE WEST SILOAM SPRINGS...BERNICE...GROVE...COLCORD...KANSAS... TWIN OAKS...JAY...WATTS...WESTVILLE...PROCTOR...CHRISTIE...BARON AND STILWELL. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.
