000 WGUS54 KTSA 210425 FFWTSA OKC115-210700- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 1125 PM CDT TUE JUN 20 2000 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR OTTAWA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA * UNTIL 200 AM CDT * AT 1120 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN DRIFTING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH ACROSS OTTAWA COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT UP TO 2 INCHES HAS FALLEN OVER THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY. ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE COUNTYWIDE THROUGH 200 AM CDT. WITH THE GROUND ALREADY SATURATED THIS WILL LEAD TO RAPID RUNOFF AND FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. * SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN INCLUDE QUAPAW...WYANDOTTE...NARCISSA...FAIRLAND...AFTON...COMMERCE AND MIAMI.
