STANLY COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA * UNTIL 515 PM EDT * AT 305 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS OVER ALL OF STANLY COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE HEAVIEST RAINS WERE OVER AREAS FROM STANFIELD AND OAKBORO EAST TO ALBEMARLE AND NORWOOD. * THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 15 MPH BUT CONTINUE TO REDEVELOP AND TRAIN REPEATEDLY OVER THE SAME LOCATIONS. * NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATES STORM TOTAL RAINFALL OF 5 TO 7 INCHES OVER THE NORTHWEST SECTIONS OF STANLY COUNTY NEAR RICHFIELD SINCE LATE THIS MORNING. * THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BRING AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL BETWEEN 315 AND 415 PM.
