DEW POINTS STAYED HIGH AND BREAKS IN CLOUDS ALLOWED TEMPS TO WARM MORE THAN EXPECTED. LAPS AND MSAS ANAL SHOW ATMOS HAS BECOME MORE UNSTABLE THAN FCST. A WARM MOIST AIR MASS IS IN PLACE ACROSS MUCH OF THE WESTERN CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA. A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT TO OUR WEST WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED AHEAD OF THE SYSTEM AND WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SOME OF THESE STORMS WILL BECOME STRONG AND COULD BECOME SEVERE.
