* AT 1219 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 21 MILES SOUTH     
  OF JUNCTION TO 3 MILES NORTH OF ROCKSPRINGS TO 16 MILES NORTHEAST  
  OF LOMA ALTA...MOVING EAST TO SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF HILL COUNTRY AND
THE AUSTIN AREA UNTIL 1 AM CDT...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MUCH OF THE HILL
COUNTRY INCLUDING THE AUSTIN AREA THROUGH 1 AM CDT.  A SLOW MOVING
COLD FRONT ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS EXTENDING INTO WEST TEXAS WILL
DRIFT INTO THE NORTHERN HILL COUNTRY OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS.  THE
AIR OVER SOUTH TEXAS IS VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE.  SCATTERED TO
NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME SEVERE ARE EXPECTED TO
INCREASE AS THE FRONT APPROACHES.  IN ADDITION...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH
REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MID DAY WEDNESDAY DUE TO SLOW MOVING FRONT
AND MOIST ATMOSPHERE.
