BEE COUNTY IN TEXAS * UNTIL 915 PM CDT * AT 813 PM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED DAMAGING WINDS AS A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PASSED THROUGH BERCLAIR. COASTAL BEND FORECAST DISCUSSION...UPDATED NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CORPUS CHRISTI TX 622 PM CDT SUN JUL 23 2000 HAVE UPDATED THE ZFP AND ISSUED AN SPS FOR THE LINE OF TSRAS MOVING SOUTH TOWARDS THE CWFA. UPPED THE POPS SIGNIFICANTLY FOR THE NRN ZONES GIVEN THE LATEST SATL/RADAR TRENDS. CURRENT THINKING IS THAT THE NERN ZONES WL BE MOST AFFECTED AND SO WENT WITH THE HIGHEST POPS HERE. MSAS WAS INDICATING IMPRESSIVE MOISTURE CONVERGENCE ACROSS THE NERN ZONES AS WELL. AREAS FURTHER SOUTH HAVE LESS MOISTURE AND ARE MORE STABLE AND SO POPS ARE MUCH LESS ACCORDINGLY. ADEQUATE AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE AND AN UNSTABLE AIRMASS...HAVE TRIGGERED SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE FORMED IN THE VICINITY OF A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT.
