* AT 512 AM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A DEVELOPING TORNADO 16 MILES WEST
  OF RAIFORD. THIS DANGEROUS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...  STIDHAM...
  VIVIAN...RAIFORD AND EUFAULA

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
935 PM CDT MON MAY 31 1999

THE ATMOSPHERE IS AMASSING NUMEROUS CONVECTIVE WEAPONS ON OUR WESTERN
FRONT THIS EVENING.  IT STILL LOOKS LIKE THE SUPERCELLULAR STORMS
OVER MUCH OF WESTERN OKLAHOMA WILL EVENTUALLY FORM INTO A COMPLEX AND
SURGE ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA OVERNIGHT AND EARLY TOMORROW.  THE
PRIMARY CONCERN INITIALLY WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR VERY STRONG AND
DAMAGING WINDS ON THE LEADING EDGE OF THE CONVECTION.  HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL ALSO BE A THREAT BEFORE THE COMPLEX PASSES COMPLETELY THROUGH
THE AREA.  HAVE UPDATED ZONES TO INCREASE POPS AND MENTION SEVERE FOR
THE ENTIRE AREA TONIGHT.

ALSO ISSUED FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING FOR
ALL BUT THE RED RIVER VALLEY.  THE GROUND IS STILL WET OVER THE AREA
FROM THIS MORNINGS RAINFALL RESULTING IN 3 HOUR FLASH FLOOD GUIDANCE
VALUES UNDER 2 INCHES OVER THE WATCH AREA.  WIDESPREAD 2 TO 3 INCH
RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE LIKELY BEFORE THE RAINS END TOMORROW.

A SECOND COMPLEX OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER EASTERN COLORADO MAY ALSO
EFFECT THE AREA BEGINNING VERY LATE TONIGHT.  THIS WILL ONLY MAKE THE
FLOODING SITUATION WORSE.
