* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
     EASTERN ST. LUCIE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

* UNTIL 915 PM EDT

* AT 824 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES WEST OF WALTON.  MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT
  15 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
    WHITE CITY AND WALTON AREAS BY 840 PM AND ALONG HUTCHINSON
    ISLAND BY 850 PM.


SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 58

INTENSITY SHOULD INCREASE THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON AS EAST COAST SEA
BREEZE GETS ESTABLISHED.

TONIGHT...STORMS WILL LINGER INTO EVE HOURS BEFORE MOVING ACROSS
EAST COAST. POPS WILL BE ADJUSTED BASED ON TRENDS LATER THIS
AFTERNOON. SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE LATE NIGHT FOG AND STRATUS DEVELOP
AND WILL WATCH FOR CIRRUS SHIELD MOVING EWD FROM TSTM COMPLEX IN
GULF OF MEXICO.

SUN...LIGHT WINDS AND TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 80S/AROUND 90 WILL
ALLOW SEA BREEZE DEVELOPMENT BY EARLY AFTN. ONCE STORMS DEVELOP OVER
THE INTERIOR COUNTIES...MID LEVEL STEERING FLOW WILL PUSH THEM EAST.
CHANCE POPS...30-40 PERCENT...AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

MON-THU...AVIATION DEVELOPS A 500MB TROUGH DOWN THE EASTERN SEABOARD
EARLY MON WITH -14 C TEMPERATURES DOWN TO A CAPE-BKV LINE BY THAT
TIME AS WELL. MEDIUM RANGE MODELS KEEP THE 500MB COLD POOL AND
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE CWA THROUGH THU.  COULD BE SETTING
THE STAGE FOR SOME INTERESTING WEATHER NEXT WEEK. CHANCE POPS EACH
DAY DUE TO SEA BREEZES INITIATING CONVECTION OVER THE INTERIOR.
