THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN FLORIDA

* UNTIL 1005 PM EST

* ...FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR NORTHEAST PALM BEACH COUNTY
  UNTIL 10 PM...

* AS OF 5 PM...MANY AREAS FROM PALM BEACH GARDENS TO PROSPERITY BAY
  IN NORTHEASTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY WERE STILL REPORTING FLOODING.
  FLOOD WATERS IN WELL-DRAINED AREAS ARE BEGINNING TO RECEDE.
  HOWEVER...STANDING WATER AND FLOODING MAY CONTINUE THROUGH THE
  EVENING HOURS...ESPECIALLY IN THOSE AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE.
  RADAR INDICATES ONLY WIDELY SCATTERED LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY
  MODERATE SHOWERS MOVING NORTH AT ABOUT 15 MPH ACROSS EASTERN PALM
  BEACH COUNTY. AS A RESULT...FLOOD WATERS SHOULD CONTINUE TO RECEDE
  WITH NO ADDITIONAL FLOODING AND THE WARNING WILL LIKELY BE DROPPED
  AT 10 PM.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS OF PONDING WATER OF
UNKNOWN DEPTH.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THEV
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.
