GILLESPIE COUNTY IN TEXAS * UNTIL 200 PM CST * AT 1205 PM CST... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY BANDS OF THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING OVER WESTERN AND CENTRAL GILLESPIE COUNTY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. * STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OFFICIALS REPORTED WIDESPREAD AREAS OF BETWEEN 1 AND 3 FEET OF WATER OVER ROADWAYS THROUGHOUT WESTERN AND CENTRAL GILLESPIE COUNTY...WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL STILL IN PROGRESS OVER THESE AREAS. DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD! SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS ACROSS GILLESPIE COUNTY...ESPECIALLY IN THE HEADWATERS OF THE PEDERNALES RIVER...WILL FLOOD SECONDARY ROADS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
