THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL HAMPDEN COUNTY IN MASSACHUSETTS
  SOUTH CENTRAL HAMPSHIRE COUNTY IN MASSACHUSETTS

* UNTIL 1145 AM EST

* AT 740 AM EST...RIVER GAGE REPORTS INDICATED THAT THE WEST BRANCH 
OF THE WESTFIELD RIVER IN HUNTINGTON WAS RISING RAPIDLY.  FLASH 
FLOODING IS EXPECTED AS THE RIVER RISES OVER ITS 9 FOOT FLOOD STAGE 
BY 9 AM.  MINOR FLOODING WILL OCCUR ALONG THE RIVER.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT. IT IS
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO RIVERS AND STREAMS. EVEN
THE SMALLEST STREAMS CAN BECOME KILLERS IN TORRENTIAL RAINS.
