THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL RIVERS AND STREAMS FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL HAMPDEN COUNTY IN MASSACHUSETTS
  SOUTH CENTRAL HAMPSHIRE COUNTY IN MASSACHUSETTS

* UNTIL 545 PM EST

* AT 1135 AM EST...MINOR FLOODING WAS IN PROGRESS ON THE WEST BRANCH 
OF THE WESTFIELD RIVER IN HUNTINGTON.  THE 1130 AM STAGE WAS AT 9.6 
FEET...FLOOD STAGE IS 9 FEET.  FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON 
AS THE RIVER RISES ANOTHER 1 TO 2 FEET BEFORE RECEDING.  

OTHER SMALL RIVERS AND STREAMS IN THE WARNING AREA WILL ALSO 
EXPERIENCE AT LEAST A BRIEF PERIOD MINOR FLOODING THIS AFTERNOON AS 
RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINS OVERNIGHT CONTINUES TO SWELL AREA STREAMS.
