THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED...A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  TALLAPOOSA COUNTY... IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 235 PM CDT.

* AT 143 PM CDT... WEATHER RADAR DETECTED TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...
LIKELY PRODUCING TORNADOES.  ONE STORM WAS LOCATED 10 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF ALEXANDER CITY...HEADING FOR THE ALEXANDER CITY AREA.

THE SECOND STORM WAS DETECTED 10 MILES WEST OF MARTIN DAM.  MOVING
TOWARDS THE WALNUT HILL...DADEVILLE...AND CAMP HILL AREAS.

THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

MOVE EASTWARD TODAY AND ALLOW MOST OF THE RAIN TO GO WITH IT. OVER THE
REST OF STATE THERE IS ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF A THUNDERSTORM TODAY
AND NO ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED.
