THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED...A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  RANDOLPH COUNTY... IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA...

* UNTIL 150 PM CDT.

* AT 117 PM CDT... WEATHER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
RANDOLPH COUNTY 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF WEDOWEE.  A TORNADO IS LIKELY
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS STPORM.  THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

* THE STORM WILL AFFECT THE NEWELL...ROCKDALE...AND HAWK AREAS.

MOVE EASTWARD TODAY AND ALLOW MOST OF THE RAIN TO GO WITH IT. OVER THE
REST OF STATE THERE IS ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF A THUNDERSTORM TODAY
AND NO ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED.
