THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A...

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LEE COUNTY... IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA.

* UNTIL 1135 AM CDT

* AT 835 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...MOVING SOUTHEAST AROUND
25 MILES AN HOUR. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED FOR THE
NEXT FEW HOURS. THE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT HAS REPORTED THAT SOME
SECONDARY ROADS ARE COVERED WITH WATER AND LOW LYING DRAINAGE AREAS
ARE BECOMING FILLED WITH WATER.

DON'T DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADS! MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN
AUTOMOBILES.
