000 TTAA00 KTUL 310227 RRA SVRTUL ARC131-310315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 827 PM CST MON MAR 30 1998 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS ...SEBASTIAN COUNTY AT 824 PM...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM JUST WEST OF DOWNTOWN FORT SMITH TO NEAR POTEAU MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH. SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED 60 MPH WINDS WITH THESE STORMS IN SPIRO. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF DIMES AND WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR pTHE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
