NEW LONDON COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT * UNTIL 920 PM EDT * A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR NORWICH IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AROUND 40 MPH. A COLD FRONT APPROACHING THE WESTERN SLOPES OF THE APPALACHIANS WILL ADVANCE EASTWARD THIS EVENING...CROSSING THE TRI-STATE REGION LATE TONIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS FRONT SOME VERY WARM AND HUMID AIR IS IN PLACE. THE RESULTANT INSTABILITY IS ENOUGH TO TRIGGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
