THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN NEW LONDON COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT

* UNTIL 830 PM EDT

* AT 2254... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN IN NORTHEASTERN NEW LONDON
  COUNTY.  MAINLY OVER THE TOWNS OF LISBON...GRISWOLD AND
  SPRAGUE. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING VERY SLOLWY TOWARD THE
  SOUTHEAST AROUND 10 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE STORMS APPEAR TO BE TRAINING WHICH MEANS ONE STORM REPLACES
ANOTHER AS IT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. THE POTENTIRAL EXISTS FOR
THESE STORMS TO PRODUCE FROM 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN IN ONE HOUR.
