THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS INDICATED THAT A MODERATE RISK OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXISTS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY TODAY.
MEANWHILE...A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER EXISTS ACROSS THE
REMAINDER OF NORTH CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY...AS WELL AS
SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA.

THIS IS A POTENTIAL DANGEROUS WEATHER SITUATION...WITH THE
POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL...AND EVEN A FEW
TORNADOES IN THE STRONGEST CELLS.

LOW PRESSURE OVER ILLINOIS WILL TRACK NORTHEAST INTO THE GREAT LAKES
WHILE A COLD FRONT SWINGS TO WESTERN KENTUCKY THIS EVENING... AND
THEN MOVES TO EASTERN KENTUCKY BY FRIDAY MORNING. AFTER EARLY
MORNING STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS CENTRAL KENTUCKY...THE ATMOSPHERE
WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO RECOVER...AS MOIST AND VERY UNSTABLE AIR
REMAINS IN PLACE AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT. THUS...THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP BY AFTERNOON...AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE
EVENING HOURS.
