MODELS DIFFER GREATLY ON TIMING OF SMALL IMPULSES WHICH COULD SET OFF SCT AREAS OF TRW THROUGH MON EVENING...AS INDICATED BY 700-500 AND 500-300 MB LAYER Q-VECTOR CONVERGENCE. ALL MODELS CONSISTENT WITH GOOD COLD AIR ADVECTION AT 500 MB FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH 36 HOURS MOVING SLOWLY FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE CWA. THIS KEEPS GOOD LAPSE RATES OVER THE AREA THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. RESULT IS THAT MENTION OF SCATTERED SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING SEEMS APPROPRIATE. BY TUESDAY MODELS COME BACK IN LINE AS FAR AS FORCING FOR PRECIP OVER CWA IS CONCERNED...INDICATING NO FORCING AND SLIGHTLY MORE STABLE LAPSE RATES. WILL NOT GO FOR ANY POPS FOR TUESDAY AT THIS TIME. FOR MONDAY...EXPECT WEST WIND AROUND 10 MPH BECOMING NORTH AT 10 MPH OVER NORTHERN SECTIONS WITH WEST TO SOUTHWEST AT ABOUT 10 MPH FOR SOUTHERN SECTIONS.
