THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  845 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...JASPER COUNTY
 
AT 642 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM RALEIGH
TO PRENTISS. THE LINE OF STORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL MOVE
INTO JASPER COUNTY BY 700 PM. CIVIL DEFENSE REPORTED AREAS OF FLOODING
FROM PREVIOUS RAINFALL AND ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL AGGRAVATE PROBLEMS.
RADAR ESTIMATES OF RAINFALL HAVE BEEN AROUND 1 INCH DURING THE PAST HOUR 
AT NIGHT BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE SWIFTLY TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
