THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH EFFECTIVE UNTIL 6 AM THU FEB 26 1998 FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... ...GRIMES...WASHINGTON...AUSTIN...COLORADO...WALLER...WHARTON ...JACKSON...MATAGORDA...BRAZORIA...FORT BEND...MADISON...HOUSTON... WALKER... MONTGOMERY...HARRIS...GALVESTON...CHAMBERS...LIBERTY... SAN JACINTO...POLK...TRINITY A DEEPENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE SOUTHERN RIO GRANDE AND A DRY LINE OVER SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ARE MOVING EASTWARD INTO AN INCREASINGLY UNSTABLE AIR MASS.
