SATELLITE SHOWS QUITE A BIT OF ACC ACROSS NE 1/2 OF ND AND FAR NRN MN. 12Z UPPER AIR SHOWS MAJOR 850 WARMUP AT BIS OVR PAST 24 HRS JUMPING 7C WHILE 50H TEMPS REMAIN AT -13C. THIS CREATED A VERY UNSTABLE 850-500 LAYER (LI TO -6 CAPES TO 1300) DUE TO WARM ADVECTION...LEADING TO THIS MORNINGS ACC AND SCT TSTMS. MODIFIED INL SOUNDING NOT AS BAD...BUT STILL -3 LI AND CAPES ABOVE 800. IN ADDITION SFC MAP CONTINUES TO SHOW WK TROF/WIND CONVERGENCE ALONG US CANADIAN BORDER FROM LAKE OF THE WOODS TO NORTH OF DVL. THIS FEATURE HAS BEEN PRESENT PAST THREE DAYS AND HAS GENERATED MID TO LATE AFTN TSRA EACH DAY. LOOKING AT HOW UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE IS EXPECT ADDTIONAL STORMS TO RE-FIRE NEAR THE TROF THIFS AFTN.
