THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN KINNEY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT

* FLASH FLOODING EXPECTED AROUND-
  FM 1572...FM 3199 AND FM 334 WHICH ALL REMAIN CLOSED

* AT 455 PM CDT...MOST OF THE SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY HAD
  MOVED OFF TOWARDS THE EAST OF KINNEY COUNTY WITH THUNDERSTORMS
  CONTINUING TO DEVELOP OVER MEXICO SOUTHWEST OF EAGLE PASS. EVEN
  THOUGH THE RAINS HAVE MOVED EAST FLOODING WILL CONTINUE FOR THE
  NEXT FEW HOURS IN ALREADY EFFECTED AREAS.  PLEASE AVOID THESE
  AREAS THIS EVENING.


DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY AND THE ROAD BENEATH MAY NOT BE INTACT. VEHICLES
CAUXGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY...IF YOU CAN DO
SO SAFELY. IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO WASH
MOST CARS AWAY. REMEMBER...MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN
AUTOMOBILES.
