* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GONZALES IN TEXAS
  LAVACA IN TEXAS
  DEWITT IN TEXAS
  KARNES IN TEXAS

* UNTIL 600 AM CDT

* AT 255 AM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  MODERATE RAINS OVER NORTHERN KARNES..SOUTHERN GONZALES..DEWITT
  AND LAVACA COUNTIES...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* AFTER THE HEAVY RAINS OF THE PAST FEW DAYS...ADDITIONAL RAINS
  OVER PORTIONS OF KARNES..GONZALES..DEWITT AND LAVACA COUNTIES
  WILL CAUSE FLOODING OVER LOW LYING AREAS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
  FLOODING IN AND NEAR THE FLOOD PLAINS OF STREAMS..CREEKS AND
  RIVERS IS LIKELY.

  BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
  DANGER OF FLOODING.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED..ACT QUICKLY.
  MOVE RAPIDLY TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT
  STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
  MOTORISTS WILL FIND IT DIFFICULT TO JUDGE THE AMOUNT OF WATER ON
  ROADWAYS AT NIGHT..THEREFORE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH
  FLOODED AREAS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
