LAVACA COUNTY IN TEXAS * UNTIL 300 AM CDT * AT 1210 AM... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN OVER PARTS OF LAVACA COUNTY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. AFTER HEAVY RAINS OF THE PAST FEW DAYS...ADDITIONAL RAINS OVER PARTS OF LAVACA COUNTY WILL CAUSE FLOODING OVER LOW LYING AREAS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS. FLOODING IN AND NEAR THE FLOOD PLAINS OF STREAMS...CREEKS AND RIVERS IS LIKELY. DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD! BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
