THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  VAL VERDE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT

* FLASH FLOODING EXPECTED AROUND-
  OVER PORTIONS OF VAL VERDE COUNTY...INCLUDING DEL RIO

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUING OVER VAL VERDE COUNTY.
AT 525 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A REDEVELOPING
AREA OF HEAVY RAIN OVER DEL RIO AND ALSO REDEVELOPING HEAVY RAIN
FROM SOUTH OF LOMA ALTA TO NEAR COMSTOCK.  HEAVY RAIN WAS
ALSO OVER THE WEST PART OF VAL VERDE COUNTY.  RAINS WILL CONTINUE
TO AFFECT VAL VERDE COUNTY FOR THE NEXT 1 TO 2 HOURS.

MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED LOW
WATER CROSSINGS OR OTHER LOW LYING AREAS THAT FLOOD EASILY.

IF YOU ARE IN THESE AREAS... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE
THROUGH WATER COVERING THE ROAD.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.
