THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MAVERICK COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 255 AM CDT

* DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AREAS OF RAIN MOVING THROUGH MAVERICK
COUNTY SLOWLY TO THE WEST NEAR 10 MPH.  RAINFALL RATES WITH THESE
STORMS ARE FROM TWO TO THREE INCHES PER HOUR.

THE STORMS WILL MOVE THROUGH THE CITIES OF EL INDIO AND EAGLE
PASS FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

DUE TO THE SLOW MOVING HEAVY RAINFALL...FLOODING OF LOW LYING
AREAS...STREETS...CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL OCCUR. IF YOU ARE IN
MAVERICK COUNTY... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH WATER
COVERING THE ROAD.

HEAVY RAIN AND RUNOFF WILL FORCE SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS OUT OF
BANKS THE NEXT FEW HOURS...MAKING AUTO TRAFFIC DANGEROUS IN FLOOD
PRONE AREAS.   MOTORISTS SHOULD APPROACH LOW BRIDGES AND CROSSINGS
VERY SLOWLY AND IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES ENTER FLOODED CROSSINGS.
