THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN VAL VERDE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  WESTERN KINNEY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 330 AM CDT

* FLASH FLOODING EXPECTED AROUND-
  IN AND AROUND DEL RIO

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE RE-DEVLOPED IN WESTERN KINNEY
  COUNTY. THEY EXTENDED WEST TO DEL RIO AND LAKE AMISTAD. RAINFALL
  RATES WERE AROUND ONE INCH AN HOUR. THUNDERSTORMS HAD ALSO
  DEVELOPED SOUTH OF DEL RIO. MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE NORTHWEST AT
  5 MPH.

 THIS RAINFALL IS FALLING ONTO SATURATED SOIL AND FLASH FLOODING OF
 LOW LYING AREAS...CREEKS AND STREAMS CAN OCCUR RAPIDLY.
 THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE IN THE DEL RIO AREA FOR THE NEXT FEW
 HOURS.

IF YOU ARE IN THESE AREAS...PREPARE MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT
DRIVE THROUGH WATER COVERING THE ROAD.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.
