THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  UVALDE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 845 AM CDT

* AT 440 AM CDT...THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHWEST UVALDE COUNTY WERE
  PRODUCING RAINFALL ESTIMATED AT OVER 2 INCHES AN HOUR.  MOVEMENT
  WAS NORTHWEST AT 15 TO 20 MPH.  THIS RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING
  WEST OF THE CITY OF UVALDE WITH THE RUNOFF GOING INTO THE WEST
  NUECES AND NUECES RIVERS.

  IF YOU ARE IN THESE AREAS... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE
  THROUGH WATER COVERING THE ROAD.

  BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
  DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS
  OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT
  STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS: RISING. IT IS
  VERY DIFFICULT AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW MUCH WATER IS ON ROADS.
  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
