THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO
  EAST CENTRAL SANTA FE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 700 PM MDT

* AT 435 PM MDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN HAS PERSIST OVER THE PECOS
  WILDERNESS AREA OF NORTHWESTERN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY...GENERALLY
  TO THE NORTH AND WEST OF I-25.  THESE STORMS WILL MOVE TO THE
  SOUTHWEST AT 5 MPH.

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES HAVE FALLEN DURING THE PAST
  SEVERAL HOURS WITH ADDITION AMOUNTS 1 TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE
  THROUGH 7 PM. THIS WILL CAUSE FLOOD OF LOW SPOTS AND DIPS ALONG
  ROADS AS WELL AS RAPIDLY RISING WATER IN STREAMS AND ARROYOS.

BOTH LOCALIZED AND DISTADNT HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CREATE DANGEROUS
FLOWS IN ARROYOS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE THROUGH THESE WATERS.
