000 TTAA00 KTUL 170815 SVRTUL OKC131-143-170915- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 317 AM CDT SUN AUG 17 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 415 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...ROGERS COUNTY...TULSA COUNTY AT 315 AM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER SAND SPRINGS AND ANOTHER SEVERE STORM 5 MILES WEST OF OOLOGAH. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH. DOWNTOWN TULSA IS IN THE PATH OF THE FIRST STORM. OOLOGAH AND TALALA ARE IN THE PATH OF THE SECOND STORM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA.
