THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
 
   ...ROGERS COUNTY
 
RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN BETWEEN 3
AND 5 AM ACROSS NORTHERN ROGERS COUNTY INCLUDING THE OOLOGAH AREA WITH 1
TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN FURTHER SOUTH IN ROGERS COUNTY. ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING INTO ROGERS COUNTY FROM THE WEST AND WILL
PRODUCE ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN ACROSS NORTHERN ROGERS COUNTY AND
UP TO AN INCH OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY.
THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL LIKELY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING WITH THE
GREATEST THREAT IN NORTHERN ROGERS COUNTY INCLUDING THE OOLOGAH AND
TALALA AREAS.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS LIKELY OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.  STAY ALERT AND WATCH FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.
