FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 525 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...WESTERN GARFIELD COUNTY

IN SOUTHWESTERN UTAH

   ...EASTERN IRON COUNTY
 
AT 330 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS FOLLOWING SEVERAL STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF GARFIELD COUNTY AND
FAR EASTERN IRON COUTNY.  MANY OF THESE STORMS WERE PRODUCING
HEAVY RAINS...THUS THE LIKELYHOOD OF FLASH FLOODING IS VERY HIGH.

THE HEAVIEST RAINS WERE NEAR PAROWAN...BRYCE CANYON...TROPIC
...HENRIEVILLE...AND ESCALANTE.  PERSONS NEAR THESE TOWNS SHOULD
AVOID WASHES AND STREAM...AND BE PREPARED FOR FLASH FLOODING.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE RISING WATER.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS
RISING.
