FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 805 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...SOUTH CENTRAL GARFIELD COUNTY
   ...NORTH CENTRAL KANE COUNTY
 
AREAS WITHIN THIS WARNING INCLUDE KODACHROME BASIN...GROSVENOR
ARCH...THE COMMUNITY OF HENRIEVILLE...AND CANNONVILLE.

AT 600 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS NORTHCENTRAL KANE AND SOUTHCENTRAL
GARFIELD COUNTIES.  THESE STORMS WERE PRODUCING A LARGE AREA OF
1 1/2 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL.

HIGHWAY 12 ACROSS GARFIELD COUNTY EAST OF BRYCE CANYON WILL
LIKELY HAVE MUD AND WATER OVER THE ROAD.  FLASH FLOODING IN DRY
WASHES AND CANYONS IS LIKELY AND IMMINENT WITH THESE STORMS.
 
DO NOT TRY TO OUTRACE A FLASH FLOOD...EITHER ON FOOT OR IN YOUR
VEHICLE.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
