THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY UT HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...WESTERN GARFIELD COUNTY
   ...SOUTHERN PIUTE COUNTY
 
AT 230 PM THUNDERSTORMS STILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER THE
MOUNTAINS OF THE DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST.  THE MOVEMENT OF
THESE STORMS IS TO THE NORTH-NORTHEAST A 5 TO 15 MPH.  HEAVY
RAINS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND SMALL HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED
WITH THESE STORMS.  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES CONTINUE TO BE OVER AN
INCH AND A HALF IN AN HOUR.  ADDITIONAL STORMS MAY CONTINUE TO
TRACK OVER THESE SAME AREAS FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS.  EARLIER
HEAVY RAINS ALONG THE GARFIELD...PIUTE COUNTY LINE MAY DRAIN INTO
THE TWO BRANCHES OF THE SEVIER RIVER. PERSONS ALONG THESE STRETCHES
JOF THE RIVER SHOULD BE ALERT TO RISING WATERS.
 
IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS
RISING.
