000 TTAA00 KRDU 060232 RRA SVRRDU NCC085-060315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH/DURHAM NC 1030 PM EDT SAT JUL 5 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH/DURHAM HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA ...HARNETT COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATES A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AT 1030 PM IN SOUTH HARNETT COUNTY 5 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF LILLINGTON. THIS STORM IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE NICKEL SIZED HAIL OR LARGER AND POSSIBLY DAMAGING GUSTY WIND. RESIDENTS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD TAKEF COVER.
