000 TTAA00 KRDU 050222 RRA SVRRDU NCC151-050300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH/DURHAM NC 1021 PM EDT FRI JUL 4 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH/DURHAM HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...RANDOLPH COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR HAS DETECTED A DANGEROUS STORM MOVING TOWARD RANDOLPH COUNTY. THE STORM IS MOVING TO THE EAST 40 MILES AN HOUR. THE STORM WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN RANDOLPH COUNTY BY 1030 PM AND INTO THE VICINITY OF ASHEBORO BEFORE 1045 PM. STORMS EARLIER THIS EVENING HAVE HAD A HISTORY OF DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL.
