IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...LEE COUNTY...MOORE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA ...HARNETT COUNTY SEVERE FLOODING CONTINUES OVER THE AREA. RAINFALL RATES OF TWO INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE. THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF STALLED CARS DUE TO WATER TWO OR MORE FEET DEEP. RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVER THE AREA THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS. FLOOD WATERS ARE HARDER TO SEE A.T NIGHT AND MOST FLASH FLOOD FATALITIES OCCUR AT NIGHT. AVOID DRIVING ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS. WATER TWO FEET DEEP CAN FLOAT MOST CARS OFF THE ROAD.
