000 TTAA00 KPHX 090400 RRA SVRPHX AZC013-090500- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHOENIX AZ 900 PM MST FRI AUG 8 1997 * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN MARICOPA COUNTY IN CENTRAL ARIZONA * UNTIL 1000 PM MST * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED WICKENBURG AGUILA * AT 900 PM MST RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER NORTHWEST MARICOPA COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHWEST AT 10 MPH. DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 57 MPH ARE LIKELY WITH THESE STORM. AN URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THIS AREA UNTIL 1000 PM AS WELL.
